Stories and highlights
There's always something to celebrate at our school! From exciting events to proud moments and everyday wins, here are some of our highlights.
A year at our school
Cooling the School day!
Our school and community came together and planted 100 tree's on the school grounds. This was such a fun day and we know that in the future, we will have lots of lovely shade. Students, teachers, parents and community members all worked together with Greening Australia to get this done.
Thank you to all our helpers that made this day so productive and fun.
ANZAC Day.
This year we were visited by some of Naval Officers from HMAS Kuttabul.
Kuttabul is situated just down the road from our school.
The Officers did a very moving ANZAC day ceremony and beautiful speeches. Our students asked the officers lots of interesting questions about what its like being part of the Navy and where had their ships travelled to.
It was incredible to learn about what our neighbours do.
Sorry Day 2025
On Monday 26th May, we observed SORRY DAY, a day to remember and acknowledge the Stolen Generations, the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children who were forcibly removed from their families.
This day also marks the anniversary of the tabling of the Bringing Them Home report in parliament.
We made Sorry hands and placed them in our garden and at the front of our school.
