FAQ

How old does my child have to be?

Your child must already be four years old, or turning four before the end of July in the year they attend. Generally, children only attend our preschool for one year - the year immediately before they start kindergarten.

 

What hours are you open?

9:00am - 3:00pm during NSW school terms. We are closed on the first day of each term (except in term 4) for our educators' professional learning.

 

What are your fees?

Our daily rate is $10 with no government childcare rebates or subsidies available. However, fee discounts are available for holders of Commonwealth Health Care CardsAboriginal or Torres Strait Islander children.   
* There will be no fees charged for students enrolled in 2022.

 

Do you provide food?

No, families must pack a nutritious lunch for their child each day. Please find more information in our Family Handbook on appropriate foods to pack. We also ask each child to bring a piece of fresh fruit each day to eat at afternoon tea time.

 

How many children attend your preschool?

We are licensed to have a maximum of 20 children in attendance on any one day.  We have two educators supervising and caring for the children at all times. 

 

Are your staff qualified?

Yes, our teacher holds an Bachelor Teaching (Primary) and a Bachelor of Early Childhood Studies and our School Learning Support Officer has a Certificate III in Children's Services.
